What is a REFLECT Retreat Weekend All About?

REFLECT is a meaningful and thought-provoking retreat weekend near Lansing, Michigan, that is for and about single adults in their mid-30s to mid-50s (but it’s also open to adults in their mid-20s to 55 who may be divorced or widowed). It’s for those who want to know themselves better and discover more about their capacity for life as an adult.

It is an experience that calls adults to believe in their goodness and devote themselves to caring for and serving others. The main purposes of REFLECT are to:

  • Understand the meaning of belonging in a relationship

  • Renew current relationships

  • Recharge your spiritual batteries

  • Foster an environment in which single adults can trust and talk openly

What Will Happen on the Weekend?

On this weekend, you will:

  • Form new friendships

  • Laugh and have fun

  • Become aware that you make a difference in belonging relationships

This is accomplished through sessions presented by other single adults in a relaxed, warm and trust-filled atmosphere that’s designed to help singles grow and experience joy. Participants also have the opportunity to share their own experiences and feelings, although no one is ever forced to speak.

The weekend begins on Friday at 7 PM and ends Sunday at about 5PM. The total charge is $125 and covers lodging, meals and materials. A $25 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of registration, with the balance of $100 to be paid upon arrival Friday night.

The retreat takes place at the beautiful St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt, Michigan. For directions and maps to the retreat center, click here.
